We have gathered the most frequent questions you have asked us before. If by any chance your question is not answered, you can email us and we will reply to you as soon as possible.

What do I need in order to rent a car?
All you need is a Valid Driver license and a major credit card and be over the age 25. (see details for under 25 drivers)

How old do I have to be to rent a car from - Qualität Rent a Car?
You have to be at least 21 years of age.

Are there any additional fees for being under 25?
Yes, $10.00 USD per day for drivers between the ages of 21 and 25.

Is there a fee for additional drivers?
Yes, there is.

How much is the additional driver fee?
$5.00 USD per day, if the additional driver is not the spouse of the primary driver.

Can I rent with cash? Do I need a Credit Card?

You can pay your bill with cash, but a credit card with at least $500.00 USD credit available is required for a deposit on the rental car. This amount will not be charged, just held until the car is returned. When you do not have credit card you will be required to leave a cash deposit. The amount of deposit depends on the number of days you need the car and the kind of vehicle you want to rent. Deposit amount is about $500.00 USD. Additional documents may be required.

Can I use another person's credit card to rent a car?

Yes, if the card holder is a family member. Restrictions may apply.

Can I use my ATM/ debit card to rent a car?
Yes, you may use your debit card. But only if the card have the Visa or Master Car logo on it.

Can I rent from Qualität Rent a Car, then return the car to a different location?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the capability for you to return the car to another location. (City)

What are your office hours?
We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 17.00 pm to 20.00 pm, seven days a week.

How can I reserve a car?
Fill out our reservation form online and click submit. Once we receive your inquiry we will offer you a rate for the car you requested. We may ask for further information in other to reserve the car for you.

How can I contact you once I arrive at Cancun?

Pick up any phone and call our number 849-4083, 849-4084, 849-4085 and 849-4086 for your free pick up. We will pick you within minutes of your phone call.

Is there a fee if I cancel my reservation?
No, there is no fee if you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance.

Is international driver license acceptable?

Yes, it is acceptable.

When do I pay for the rental fee?
You will pay when you return the car.

What forms of payments can I use to pay for rental fee?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card). Also we accept traveler's checks and cash payments. Sorry no personal check is accepted.

What insurance coverage do you offer?
Aditional liability insurance, personal accident insurance, collision damage waiver, no damage deductible, legal assitence insurance.
